CRYOGENIC CABLING

CRYOGENIC CABLING

We provide custom pipe wraps for various cryogenic cables including high temperature superconducting (HTS) cables and cables for various cryostats and large tank systems. Because of the nature of these systems, many of our cables are wrapped by hand, layer by layer, using precise methods and procedures to achieve the best thermal performance possible over tight corners and pipe transitions. Long HTS cables are designed to be mechanically wrapped to insure repeatable performance over long runs. Each cable system is designed for the client’s needs and custom tailored to the end performance.  Contact AFM Customer Service to discuss your cable wrapping needs.
